Office Manager

The Office Manager position will oversee all office and facility operations. This includes but is not limited to procurement, serving as point of contact for office management related activities, upkeep of space, and supervising building services.



  • Greet and host visitors. 
  • Provide administrative support to the Riversand executive team including assisting with coordinating company meetings, working lunches and events, and managing external vendors such Fedex, UPS, etc.
  • Create, update, and maintain various internal documentation.
  • Purchase and maintain inventory control of office supplies, kitchen supplies and general office equipment.
  • Perform regular walk-throughs to ensure all equipment is running efficiently and smoothly, common areas including kitchen, conference rooms and general office areas are kept clean.
  • Manage the delivery of facilities services including supervising, scheduling and coordinating building services, mail services, furnishings, and equipment inventory and maintenance.
  • Interact with building management to coordinate building functions such as: cleaning, maintenance and employee concerns, etc.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements through our travel vendor for guests in the Houston office.
  • Keep the company in compliance with OSHA and local fire codes and implement the required fire drill response.
  • Coordinate office events (i.e. team building events, holiday parties, company picnics, etc.)
  • Enforcing company policies.



  • 5+ years of experience as executive assistant or similar role.
  • The right candidate for this role will be self driven, team oriented, adaptable, motivated and personable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Proven track record for providing excellent customer service.
  • Good working knowledge of all municipal, provincial, and national building, fire and other regulations applicable to the area of responsibility.
